Bunker Survey

Since commodity prices are permanently increasing it is of special interest to determine the exact bunker quantity on board, since it accounts for more than half of the operational costs of a vessel in service. Losses, for the owner or charterer, caused by incomplete delivery are to be avoided by means of the bunker survey conducted by an independent expert.

Hanse Survey will monitor the bunkering of your vessel and supervise the procedure. After determining the remaining bunkers on board, samples of the new bunker quantity are retrieved and stored. Bunker quantity in tons, density and temperature of the bunkered fuels are determined.
